A Third-Year Graphic Design Student

For my Final Major Project, I wanted to create a prototype of a menstruation education app that empowers parents and preadolescent children to have open conversations about periods.

As the mother of a young child that will likely menstruate someday, this research has personal significance. No child should have a period and not understand what it is. This is the unfortunate reality for many, including my own experience at the age of ten. This project combines my educational background with my skills in digital design, illustration and animation, allowing me to address an essential topic in today’s society.
